Acadiana Park Campground

The Acadiana Nature Station and Acadiana Park Campground are managed by different departments within LCG. If you should need to contact the campground, please call this number: 337-291-8388. Leave a message if no one answers, they will return your call. 

You can also email the campground, but it’s not checked daily. E-mails should be sent to Ella at eandres@lafayettela.gov​ and she will relay the information to the campground attendant, who does not have an e-mail address. 

  • Do not remove dead wood, plants or animals from the Nature Station Trails, all living and non-living organism are protected within our nature preserve.

  • Do not feed wildlife, raccoons are wild animals and should stay that way for their health and safety as well as yours.

  • Bicycles are not allowed on Nature Station Trails but they are allowed in the campground and in Acadiana park.
Pets must be leashed at all times in the campground, park and nature station trails.

  • Destruction of trees such as nailing or chopping is prohibited.
